Hey my precious Gabriel,

Wow how you've changed over the past few months. You have such an adorable personality now. You just smile and laugh so much it melts me. Your crawling all over the place and trying to stand alone. Last week when we kept you I was laying on the floor playing with you and you crawled over to me and pulled up on me grabbed my shirt with one hand and stood there and started jabbering. I was like grabbing you cause you think you can stand by yourself. I'm sure you will be soon but your not quite there yet sweetie. You have brought so much joy to us. I look at your pictures and videos that I have on my ipod every day because I get enough of you. I love you precious more and more each day.

Bath Time

I just had to post so that one day you will know that today, today...was the first time you have ever entered into water and not screamed bloody murder!  You had so much fun in your bath tonight!  Mommy got in the bath with you and we had soooooo much fun!

I cannot believe you are 5 months old!  You are scooting around trying to crawl everywhere!  I am sure you will be crawling every where before to long!  You are up to eating peas and squash and sweet potatoes!  I cannot believe how fast you are growing!

I never knew how much I could love someone until I met you.  You have truly turned my world upside down and around and around!  Gabriel, I love you more every day!

We have finally gotten your reflux under control and your colic is GONE! YAH!!!!!!!!!

The most awesome Grandson in the world!

Wow! I can't believe that you are already 3 months old! Time is flying! You are no longer a little baby. You have become a little boy. I enjoy so much getting to keep you from time to time. Your smile just does my heart good. The cooing and trying to talk is awesome! My whole world just lights up when I see you. Your pappy Martin is the same way. He just loves it when he talks to you about fishing and you just hold his finger and laugh and talk to him!

YOUR tree is just growing and standing tall. There is a little shade already. I can't wait until we can put a sandbox under it for you to play in and other play toys. I pray that God allows us to be able to enjoy all of the dreams that I have for me, you and pappy.

You are one lucky little boy. Your dad is getting to keep you during the day. This is an awesome opportunity for your dad. One he will treasure forever. He is doing an awesome job too!

Gabriel today is your 2 month old birthday. Yah! You are growing so fast sweetheart. Your grandpaw and I came to see you last night and enjoyed our visit sooo much. You smiled and cooed at us, you just don't know what a thrill that was for us. You are such a beautiful little boy. Sunday is Easter can't wait to celebrate your first holiday with you. Your grandpaw is going to keep you tomorrow so I'm going to come home for lunch so I can see you for a few minutes. I love you precious with all my heart can't wait to see you.

Wonderful Gabriel

Our wonderful Gabriel! My how time has flown. You are already one month old! Growing and staying awake more and we get to enjoy those beautiful eyes. I never imaged that I could have a love so strong for you! It is the most wonderful feeling in the world. I think of you all the time and look at your pictures on my desk and wish my day would hurry up so I could see you.

I was lucky enough to see you everyday for a month. And boy have you grown. Your mom and dad are wonderful! You are a lucky and blessed young man.

The difference you have made...

I cannot believe that you are 18 days old...I am sitting here looking at you so peaceful and calm while you are sleeping.  It truly overwhelms me that God allowed me to be your mom.  You are perfect in every way, I love to watch your facial expression, the way you scrunch your brows and pucker your lips after you eat! Your daddy and I love you so much and sit in awe of the Miracle that God has given us.  You truly have changed my life in so many ways.

The last 9 months were so amazing as you grew inside of me and you and I had so much fun while you wiggled around and kicked and squirmed.  I miss that ya know, but I guess that is selfish of me because now everyone gets to enjoy your squirminess :).  But I miss having you with me everywhere I go all the time.  But now I get to hold you and kiss you and stare at you (which I do ALL the time!)  I hope you are enjoying getting to know mommy and daddy because we are treasuring every moment of getting to know you!

You have grown so much in the last 2 weeks!  We had to work on making sure your weight came back, but now you're just eating eating eating!  But unfortunately your tummy is bothering you and doc Milroy thinks you could have colic...I really hope and pray not...but if that is the case then we will get through it.  Thankfully Doc told us to try tummy tonic...and that is helping you so much!

I just love you to the moon and back!  You're crying so I gotta go!

My precious Gabriel,

Today was such an emotional day for me. It was your daddy's birthday and he turned 30, I can't beleive it. The years have gone by so fast. I can remember when he was a little baby just like you. I treasure those days. This past week your grandpaw and I was able to spend time with you and your mommy and daddy. Gabriel I couldn't wait to get up each morning to come and see your beautiful face. I love you dearly my precious and I'm going to miss you next week when I have to go back to work. You'll never know how much joy you have brought to us. We are looking so forward to watching you grow but not to fast please I want to soak up every moment. I just want to thank your mommy and daddy for letting us come in and share this special time with them. It meant so much to us. Love you and hugs and kisses till I see you again precious.

Well your mom's eviction notice worked! You came to us on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 11:19 pm. You weighted 6 lb 9 oz and are 21 1/4 inches long.

You are without a doubt the most beautiful and precious grandson in the whole world! The love I felt for you before you were born is absolutely minor in comparison to the way I feel about you now!

It is the most incredible feeling in the world! I got to stay with your mom, dad, and you last week! Today, I had to come back to work! This is really hard! I want to call all the time and check on you, but your grandmother and grandfather Pennington are there and I know that they are taking good care of you. But I sure do miss you!

Eviction Notice...

Hey Little Buddy!

I cannot believe that today is your due date!  I am in complete AWE that you are supposed to be in my arms today!  I am so ready to hold you and love you and cuddle you and take care of you!  I am also pretty ready to stop itching!  For the last 5 weeks we have been itching and itching...I'm sure you know...because I talk about it all the time!  But after lots of scratching, cold showers, and many a tear...you will be here soon!

I woke up this morning to some contractions from 2:22 to about 6:30...but then they went back to the Braxton Hicks contractions...but I am hoping and praying that when we go to the Dr. this afternoon that he will tell us fabulous news and we will have you soon!  But I am trying not to get my hopes up because I don't want to be let down again!

Or...maybe I will go into labor before the Dr.'s appointment and we won't have to worry about any of that!

Well I love you...more than you will ever know and I cannot wait to finally hold you...it really won't be long now!

Sweet Gabriel

Good Morning my sweet Gabriel! Wow! How time has flown! You are due in 9 days. It has gone by so fast.

Your mom and dad are "nesting" They are cleaning, washing your clothes and packing! Your new bathroom is awesome! You will love it.

Yesterday when I took great grandmaw Ray to your house, your dad was putting in the first load of your clothes! They are so sweet working together to get all of your things just right for you. Friday they put the bassinet and bouncer together. It is just beautiful! We can't wait to see you in it!

Gabriel it won't be long now before you finally arrive. Everything is ready and were all so excited. Sweet Sweet Gabriel

Wow! It's almost time for you! We are soooo excited. Your mom and dad have your nursery all ready and it is beautiful. All that is missing is you! You've had 2 showers already and have lots of stuff.
