It's been a while!

Hey Little Buddy!

I know it has been a while since I wrote to you, but you have been keeping me very tired lately!  Today we put together your glider with your grandma and grandpa Martin and it is soooooooo cute!  It matches your room just perfectly! 

It is so hard to believe that in just 7 short weeks you will be here...I thought it would never get here and BAM before I knew it we are this far along!

Sorry about yesterday...the sun was blinding me and I didn't see the car in front of me hit her breaks...I was kinda worried about you!  But we went to the OB Triage and they monitored you for 4 hours!  Can you believe that?  We got to hear your heart beat for 4 straight hours!  It even wooed me to sleep after a while...it was so sweet and innocent! 

Your brother is getting really excited about you too!  He has started laying in the afternoons with his head purched on my tummy!  He likes to feel you kick (I see his ears perk up when you kick him! haha). 

I am so excited about you that I can hardly contain myself!  We start having baby showers for you next week (WOWZER!)

We also got to see you through the 4-D ultrasound on December 18...can you say cute?  You are definitely the cutest baby I have ever seen...and I'm not just saying that because I am your mom (ok, maybe that's a little bit of it!) 

Well you're about to eat some pasta from Milano's, one of our favorite spots!  I hope you like it because I could really use the sleep tonight!

My precious Gabriel,

We finally were able to see you today. You are soooo beautiful. I started crying as soon as your little face appeared. Your Grandmother Martin and I were holding hands and I think I cut her circulation off bless her heart. It's just I was so excited to see you. We were all in amazement just looking at you. You would blink your eyes, stick out your tongue and move your little hands around. We watched you what looked liked sucking on your hand. But then you gave us the most precious smile. Wow, you made me melt. As if you didn't already have my heart seeing you today is going to make it so hard these next couple of months waiting on you. I want you now but I know you need to grow some more so I'll be patient. (Well the best I can). I love you so very much and thank God everyday for you.

Wow! The time is flying! Only 61 days til your due date! We get to "see" you this Saturday. Your mom and dad are having a 4D ultra sound. We are all so excited to see you in person and hold you and cuddle and just kiss you all over. Your grandmother Pennington and I will be flying high when you get here, I hope our feet touch the ground when you come!

You are such a loved and wanted child. God has truly blessed you with great parents and (I think) grandparents, great grandparents and Uncle Matt and Aunt Courtney!

Waiting Waiting Waiting

Well little guy...Last Wednesday we ordered your glider (actually mine and your daddy's hehe) and I am hoping that it comes REALLY soon! But they said it could take 10-12 weeks (boo).  But oh well, atleast it will be here before you are! 

I am so excited about you.  Your daddy and I keep hitting bumps in the road, but you always give us the silver lining.  You are kicking all the time now and your daddy gets to feel you more (I'm glad you are finally letting him hehe).

Hello my precious Gabriel,

Your nursery is painted and it has furniture and your mommy will soon start putting some pooh characters on the wall. I can't wait to for your mommy and daddy to finish the nursery it's going to be so pretty. Then in just a few more months the most wonderful thing is going to happen, you will arrive. That is going to be the most amazing day for us I don't how I'm going to be able to keep my feet on the ground when the time comes. I love you precious and you keep growing strong and we'll see you soon.

Hey Little Buddy!

Hey!

So yesterday your Grandpa Pennington and dad put together all your furniture (except the glider and it is coming soon!) and it is beautiful!  I'm gonna add some pictures for you to look back on one day :) 

This week you are so active!  You wouldn't even let me sleep in this morning!  I guess your practicing your soccer skills! 

Well we are almost 26 weeks along...and I cannot believe you will be here in around 14 weeks (that is not a long time at all!)

Good Morning! What a wonderful day it is! Only 3 more months and we get to officially meet you in person! Wow! It is really going by fast! Your grandpa and I are going to paint our nursery in about 2 weeks. I hope you really love it.

Your nursery is getting there. Painting is done, door knobs up, chair railing done. Glider being bought in two weeks and nursery furninture coming soon. We want to have it all done by your mommies birthday, January 8th! That's when we are having a shower at your house for you! She wants everybody to see what a beautiful nursery you have!

Oh, Gabriel, I swell with such pride when I think of you. I can hardly wait to see you and hold you and cuddle!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Hey little buddy!  I have really enjoyed feeling you jump around and wiggle here lately!  I cannot believe your due date is only 115 days away! Can you believe that?  WOW!  Your dad and I are working on your room really hard!

I'm sorry you're not getting all the fun food you were...Mommy's headaches are causing her to get really sick...a lot!  So I hope that goes away soon so I can get back to all the yummy food!

Well I love you!  I can't believe I will be six months prego on Wednesday!  Only 3 1/2 more months to go!

Ok little buddy...

Okay little buddy....You are sitting on my left hip, lighting up my sciatica...and now you and I are dealing with migraines and swelling!  It's been a rough week especially and I feel like I look like the Nutty Professor (I'll let you see the movie one day, hehe).  Hopefully the medicine is going to help and we are going to start feeling better really soon!

I love you so much and I love feeling you wiggle around in my tummy!  We are so excited for you!  You know, I put a countdown up and it said 3 months and 31 days on Saturday...which means today it is 3 months and 28 days...can you believe it? You are getting close to coming into the world...wahooo!

Well I'm going to bed, you make me really sleepy and tired!

The room is coming together!

Hey little buddy! We are so excited about you!  I am feeling you kick and squirm all the time!  You are being sneaky when it comes to your dad though...trying to play hide and seek!  Today your dad and Grandpa Martin are putting the chair railing up in your room, it is going to look FANTASTIC!  I can't wait until we get the furniture and the new light in there...it is going to be absolutely beautiful! We are also putting up the light switch covers that are etched in winnie the pooh (they are so cute!)..Well I am laying on the couch because my feet have been swelling a lot and the doctor told me yesterday to rest all weekend.  You will know soon enough my little one that I am not good at doing nothing, but for you I will do anything!  We have 17 weeks and 4 days until your expected arrival...and it cannot come soon enough!

Our sweet Gabriel:

The days are flying. Before you know it you will be here! We can hardly wait! Your mom and dad went on vacation for a week and bought you all sorts of beautiful things! You will be the best dressed kid around!

Your mom looks so cute! She (you) has grown! She and your dad just love you to pieces. Grandpa Pennington finished painting your nursery while they were gone and it looks wonderful! Can't wait to see the furniture and you in it. God has truly blessed this family.

Our Precious Grandson!

Wow! What a wonderful day we had yesterday! Your mom and dad were just awesome! So thoughtful and caring. They gave each of us, Aunt Courtney, us and your grandparents Pennington a beautiful blue book with your pictures in it! We just love being able to see you already! What a wonderful God we have to give us such a wonderful blessing as you!

We found out today that you are a boy!  We are so excited that we can call you Gabriel and look forward to your arrival!  We love you so much!  We had so much fun telling your grandparents, and your auntie that you are indeed Gabriel!  We love you and can't wait to learn all about you!

My precious Gabriel,

This has been the most exciting day finding out if you were a boy or a girl. You just don't know how long the wait was for us at the restaurant waiting for your mommy and daddy to arrive. It seemed like forever but that was OK you are worth all the time in the world to us. Now we know were going to have a grandson, WOW! The pictures that they took of you at the doctor's office made me cry because you are so amazing. We love you so very much and are so looking forward to your arrival.

Tomorrow Tomorrow I love you tomorrow!

Hey Little one!  I know you're down there...I feel you more and more every day!  Saturday we had to go to the Hospital with your Great Great Uncle Clinton, and a friend of mine found you and let your Daddy feel you for the first time!  Your Grandmother Martin felt you too!  And then on Sunday your Daddy felt you move AGAIN!  I think he likes feeling you move!  I know I do!  So tomorrow is the big day...I am praying you behave and cooperate so that we will know whether to call you Eva or Gabriel from now on!  The anticipation is killing me!  I have always dreamed about what it would be like but now that I know that in roughly 24 hours I could know whether you are a boy or girl...WOW!  I can hardly think of anything else!

Well I am praying for you today Little one...and your Daddy already told you he was praying for you today...We love you so much and cannot wait to hold you in our arms and love you forever!

7 days!

Hey Little bit!  We have 7 more days until we can call you by your name!  I absolutely cannot wait!  Today your moving around a lot...which is fun for me!  I can't wait until your daddy can start feeling you kick!  He is gonna be so excited!  Your big brother Manny is already protective of you, he lays his head on my stomach at night sometimes and falls asleep - so precious!  Well, I hope you have a good day down in my tummy!  Hopefully I will start eating more now that I feel better, so you won't have to go hungry!

Good Morning! Your mom and I had a great evening last night! We went to eat and then to see Mary Poppins! It was awesome! I can't wait for the day that we can take you to see a musical. You will love it! You mom is so cute! You are growing so fast and her tummy is growing! We love you! I like to talk to you - I hope you can here me. In less that two weeks we will know what you are and you know it doesn't matter to me - I will love you to piece no matter what! You are a really bright spot in my life! Good Evening Our Little Precious

I talked with your mommy yesterday and she wasn't feeling to well because of her allergies. We texted each other today and she said she was feeling better. I was so glad to hear that. I don't like for her to be sick. Well we only have 2 weeks left to find out if your Eva or Gabriel it's going to be such an exciting day. 2 weeks!

Hey Little one!  2 weeks from today we will know if you are Eva or Gabriel - Wahoo!  Also, you are the size of a Large Mango!  You and I have had a rough couple of days....mom has been sick!  Sorry about that...but we are getting better!  Everyone is so excited about you!  We can barely contain ourselves with all the excitement around...I think even Manny (your furry brother) is excited about you!  He lays his head on my tummy on most days and just lays there, it is so cute!   Well I hope you have a good day down there in my tummy!

We are going to see Mary Poppins with your Grandma Martin tonight, you liked it Sunday, so you should like it tonight too!

A lazy Tuesday night

Hey Munchkin!

I've been thinking a lot about you today.  Started wondering what color hair you will have, what color eyes you will have, etc.  I still can't believe sometimes how far you have come!  I mean you're almost half way here...can you believe that?  Your big brother has started noticing that we are working on your room...he's a little upset with your dad and I because Manny claims that room for his room, but as we are starting to clean it out he is getting upset because he knows something is up...haha, isn't that funny?  I talk to you all the time now in the car and such, I hope you don't mind, haha.  I have started monitoring what we listen to on the radio...I don't want you coming into this world listening to some of the really bad stuff that comes on the radio!  Your dad is super excited about you too!  He asks about you ALL the time, it's really sweet!  You are super lucky to have a dad like yours!  He is going to be the best dad EVER!  We are even working on getting him okay with changing your diaper :)  He will be fine, he is so excited about you that I am not sure who is more excited, me or him!  Well you are telling me that you are ready for bed, so to bed we go!

Our Sweet Baby!

Good Morning! What a wonderful weekend we had with your mom and dad and Grandma and Grandpa Pennington. We all went shopping for you! It was so much fun! We can hardly wait to find out what you are! Your mom and I went yesterday to your great grandmother Ray's house to get your Pooh stuffed animals that your Uncle Matthew bought for your mom over the years. Wait til you see them! They are awesome! Your mom and dad are working hard on your nursery. It won't be long til we can paint it! Well gotta go, I must work sometime today!

Hello little precious

At the moment we are waiting for the 29th to arrive to find out if you are a boy or a girl. I don't think the days can pass by fast enough. We are so excited about you. Your mommy and daddy are starting on your nursery. I know your going to love it because they want it to be just right for you. You know what your daddy had a pooh nursey when he was a baby too. Well, this Grandma is going nite nite and I hope you and mommy sleep well too. Counting the days till the 29th. Love you with all my heart.

New Beginnings!

So little bit, we went to the Dr. the other day...and we found out that our next appointment is September 29!  That means in 3 weeks and 2 days we will know if you are a boy or a girl!  I can't wait to call you by name, Eva or Gabriel!  Today your Daddy and I started cleaning out your room and we are going to start moving the furniture out so we can paint and put your furniture in there!  We have 2 colors drying on the wall as I type to you to see what color the walls are going to be!

Also, your grandmothers and I went shopping on Saturday...we only intended to look, but we ended up buying clothes for you!  So if you are a girl or a boy we are getting the closet started!  You are going to be the cutest dressed baby around.  Your dad and I both love fashion so I am sure you will be super cute all the time!

Well I am going to make you dinner (you sure do seem to be hungrier these days!)

Hey Little Bit! 

It's mom!  I wanted to create this blog so that I could begin to accumulate letters and notes from the people who love you most!  I am so EXCITED about you that I can hardly stand it!  I am officially 15 weeks and 5 days pregnant...that means it is almost time for us to find out if you are a boy or a girl!  We go for our next appointment in the morning...that means we hopefully get to hear your heartbeat again.  That was so awesome the last time your dad and I got to hear it...it was going to fast and so strong, I was just beaming with pride!  We started cleaning out all the clutter so we can start on your nursery soon!  Your dad and I have everything picked out, it is going to be amazing - just like you!  Well I hope you have a good day in my tummy (and try not to give me heartburn okay?)!
